Thank you to the Young Men's Service League for their wonderful, heartfelt holiday cards and the very cute decorative, hand-painted bird houses.
Thank you to the Cupertino High School Robotics team for their wonderful pen pal letters.
All of you are bringing joy to Heart of the Valley's fragile and isolated, low-income clients this holiday season!
For most of our clients, your gifts, cards and letters will be the only gifts they will receive each year and they really look forward to receiving them from our wonderful volunteer team of reindeer, who make the experience even more special as they personally deliver each gift and take the time to have a socially distanced holiday and getting to know you chat, with each of our clients.

We at Heart of the Valley, are ever so grateful for the young men and their moms, who came out to the Heart of the Valley office on August 20, 2022, for Senior Appreciation Day.
It's amazing what a person with a big heart can do within a few hours - imagine 70 of them all working together!

Cleaning out and organizing our very crowded shed
Taming our overgrown front and back yards
Making the Heart of the Valley entrance beautiful with new succulents in our planters.
Putting together various PPE into baggies for our COVID Car Kit in order to ensure safe services for both our clients and volunteers
Potting mini succulents and painting bird houses, which they later personally delivered to our clients along with a Pen Pal letter, during which they had a nice COVID safe, getting-to-know-you chat with each client. This wonderful Holidays in August surprise visit and gifts, just made each of our client's day!
