Sunnyvale Senior Center Book Club
On Friday, September 18th, Please join Heart of the Valley at the Sunnyvale Senior Center. We will be participating in the Senior Center Book Club.
This month’s selection is Joan Is Okay by Weike Wang. Joan is a happily solitary ICU doctor at a busy New York hospital. When Joan’s father suddenly dies and her mother returns to America, a series of events sends her spiraling out of her comfort zone.
Pick up a copy of the book at the Senior Center front desk.

Santa Clara Senior Center BBQ
On Thursday, September 24th, please join Heart of the Valley at the Santa Clara Senior Center.
This is part of the Summer Patio Events at the Santa Clara Senior Center. Save the date for our upcoming monthly BBQ’s. Join friends (or meet new ones) and enjoy good eats on the patio.Tickets will be available at the front desk of the Santa Clara Senior Center the week before the event or can be purchased the day of on the patio.
